they are oem cams...they should outlast the motor

delta just regrinds oem cams.

 

Reviving the thread from its grave, but I'd be curious to know..some people should have had the cams in for years now...

 

you can check out the delta cams thread. I have never heard of a failure from them.

 

I have had mine for about 2 years no issues, no complaints. Going to be stepping up to the 3000 girnds soon.

I have had my 2000's in for 3 years and over 40K miles. Not a single issue! Grade A product at a fair price from great guys! +1

 

are the 02+ 2.5L's dohc or single?

 

They are SOHC.


Ive put over 15,000 miles on my 2000's in a pretty short time. I have had no issues whatsoever.

 

damnit....so if i wanted cams...i'd have to buy some for the 25D?

 

3+ years on mine... no issues except excessive tire wear!!

 

are you guys beefing up your valve spings and such.. or just swaping 1 or 2k grinds in?

I've heard nothing but great things about Delta cams. I know for sure these are going in my future build.

 

Now here is a smart man that will do a mod only once, with the right part!

Running Delta 2000 Grind Cams since July 2008. No issues. Although I need to do a valve adjustment.... Did them a little too 'loose' from the initial install and they are tapping away and robbing me of power.....

 

how do u fix that. i have that tap too. (no cams just tap.)

 

Been running them since jan of this year. Car has 50 000 miles on it, and it resides close to the 60th paralell. lots of -30 deg cel starts.. fun to drive..

 

The Delta Cams/Custom Import Heads rallycross Impreza ran them for 3 yrs without issue. Hell, they even run upside down!
