Im going to be copying your battery relocation. kthnxbai!

Oh b4 I go:
Hows it it working for you, I know you said you had some voltage issues
What gauge wire did you run? 4gauge?
And could you snap a pic of how you connected everything up in the bay?

+1. my batter is 32.5 pounds... time to relocate some weight.

Well, Im running both positive and negative 4GA wires from the battery to the connections in the bay. I didnt want to cut any of the OEM terminals just incase I needed to hook up a battery there. I think since the lines are so long, its not charging my battery that well and also alot of the power is being soaked up by the cables themselves. I have never had a dead start but it sure sounds like its taking alot longer to start the car escpecially when its cold out. I have since hooked up some battery tender lines and every once in a while I hook her up to the charger.

My optima red top is supposed to have around 900CA @ 32F

A friend of mine also said that I may need a bigger ground wire and also to add another ground in the rear of the trunk somewhere. Maybe that would help but until I do that I wont know.

I may end up just buying a smaller "braille" style battery and mounting it under my passenger seat while also making the battery lines shorter ;)

Good to know.
I think Im going to go a bit more complicated. I saw a bunch of setups with it grounded in the trunk, a circuit breaker in the trunk, and a disty block in the bay.
But Im def stealing your mounting points though

So this past friday I took off the borlas and slapped the OEM one back on. I air hosed out the heat shielding which did have some rocks and pebbles causing all the rattling noise and to my surprise the fiber packing under the shielding is still intact. I went ahead and wrapped some portions anyways to keep the ticking down to a minimum, and it worked. Now its super quiet from up front. Like I stated a while back, after I took the borlas off and installed the OEM EL-ish header, I noticed an improvement in engine responce and power throuout the entire powerband. The exhaust tone is spot on too, doesnt sound ricy but rather more Evolution-ish :p

This is the way Im going to keep it until I swap ;)

It only took me 3 different header/catback setups before I realized the OEM headers> Borla. It only took you 25!

Agreed... but... pm sent ;)

Some kid told me that this weekend I thought he was high. I told him that i currently have a crack in my headers and he just said "Aftermarket headers are stupid I've gone through three sets, just stick the stock ones back in it." ... I welded mine up last night but if they crack again i luckily still have the stock ones.
