How strong are the 2.5RS drive trains?? I know that past AWD systems in other cars have had problems, I am not looking to beat on my car but wondering how the occasional autox and things like that will be on the drive line??

If you take care of it and don't act like a fool in your car, it can handle a decent amount of punishment. If you want to upgrade, go with an Sti RA gearset and then you'll have a near unbreakable transmission.
Should be fine with bolt-ons. Add a turbo or s/c and you need to start getting cautious.
