So I’m doing the sti swap right now and am in the middle of putting the wiring all back together from iwire. I had an aftermarket alarm system that I cut out and crimped the wires back to Oem at the steering wheel and fuse box. I noticed I don’t have the 3 plugs that go to the factory alarm system and don’t have the factory alarm system module on hand. Do I need this to start the car?

Nope, I dont believe you need it to run the car at all. Is this a rhd car? What sti engine are you swapping?
Does the first one have yellow wires? It might be the illumination for the turbo gauge, on factory GDs it sits on top of the steering column near the parking light button

I just finished making all the connections! 98 RS to WRX ej 205 . Got them all figured out and routed.
If you have any questions, now is the time to ask, because I will be closing up the interior this weekend.
