Still in great condition with 10K on them

The suspension was probably a 1.5in drop or more. It sits perfect now. Tires fill the wheel wells very nicely. I will have to find a fender roller for the rear as it does rub a little. Very pleased with the results.

The tire rub mark. I'm sure after a little fender rolling it should tuck snugly.

I decided to go with the EJ25 block and EJ22 heads for the extra power. I will be ordering up all new seals, gaskets, timing belt kit, water pump and pretty much everything to rebuild an engine. I will be running my stock EJ18 5sp tranny but I know it will blow sooner than later with the kind of power i will be making. When that happens I will throw in an EJ22 tranny.

I also have ordered up a good list of parts

• Light weight flywheel
• Stage 1 clutch
• Front and rear strut bars
• Muffler
• All new gaskets and seals
• New water pump

I already have ordered up all the parts for the engine rebuild process. So very soon i will have the EJ25 power!!! Stay Tuned for more pics of my build.

Got the Massive Intake on the stock tube. Fabricated an aluminum shield to prevent splashing through the holes on the fender. Also created wall shielding intake from engine heat. Made a huge difference in power and how the engine ran.

Next is a 2.5 header and exhaust. Better injectors. This car is amazing though. I will never sell it

Over 1600 miles on motor and still running better than ever.
Winter is coming and this bad boy is ready for it. Got to get sideways on some wet pavement corners. It can power through once you actually break traction and get sideways. Gonna put the smaller winter tires on it and it will have even better better torque

 

Man how did you get the cold air intake hooked up to the stock piping? i have one laying around and i wanna hook it up to the stock piping as well did u fabricate the metal part between the intake and the maf sensor?

a little update. I am gathering the funds to order up suspension and motor parts. Planning on saving up enough money in the next month to get all the parts i need. Stay Tuned:banana:

 

So I am gonna do the EJ25 block with the EJ18 heads on it and the old EJ18 5sp. I am ordering up my parts for the swap now. I am wondering will the EJ22 clutch and flywheel work with this swap? Or do I need the EJ25 clutch and flywheel? I am ordering up stage 1 clutch and lightweight flywheel. I have found them on ebay but I am wondering if the EJ22 stuff will work with this swap. Any info is appreciated. Thanks

Some parts came in today

Ebay front and rear strut bars. They are nice. But they are no carbon fiber STI grade strut bar. But they're also a fraction of the price

Also got the Stage 1 clutch kit

I love blue

The lightweight flywheel also came, but it needed signature damn it!!

I have seen your thread and its just inspiration for me. Someday I will go turbo but for now I just want a good pumping NA 2.5 and make the interior and exterior nice. Worry about 300hp later. hahahah

It's mind-boggling for how cheap you can get these 93 sedans for. People just dont know what they have. I got mine for $100 and parted out $100 worth of stuff. It's basically a free car right now. I would have bought one from the beginning and never gotten an RS. I'd have a 600whp fully built cosworth block by now xD

 

My car got towed to the subaru shop yesterday. Got all the parts ordered up. My friend is gonna try and get it finished up this weekend. Lots of pics and goodies to come.

Yes but its a good thing. Cause i wanted to tuck them tires nicely. I love how it sits nice and low and when you take a hard turn it tucks the tires. Too bad i still cant legally drive it until June 2011. UGh lessons learned:blol:

I love me some purple. I am jelous how you picked one up for uber cheap. Would have loved to have a rear trunk and bumper cause my purple subie got rear ended, body work fixed, but its primered in the rear and would rather just have a new bumper.

 

Fenders rolled. Engine is running great with stock intake and exhaust. Gonna put on the exhaust this weekend. And work on a cold air intake soon. I will get video of powering through the gears.:burnout:
