My front seat rails dont disengage fully when sliding the seat forward to let someone in the back. I have tried pulling the lever all the way up when sliding but that doesn't help.

There's a cable setup under the seat. Mine had a similar issue when the plastic endcap for one of the cable sleeves broke and it fell out of it's locator on the slider frame. I was able to jam it back into that spot with the next "slot" on the plastic cap, but now it doesn't release the slide lock until the seatback is ALL the way forward. Makes it a pain for everybody but me to slide it back.
I took my seat out to work on it; much easier to deal with.
