WTB: new or used Engine & Trans for 2000 rs

I have a 2000 rs and I need a new manual transmission and engine. I will be looking around but please let me know if you have one or the other, or both.

PS will it make a difference if I get a DOHC engine where the one I broke was SOHC?

Yes, the wiring for a SOHC and DOHC ej25 is different.

I have a blown ej25 SOHC with good tranny

and i have an good ej22 sohc with good tranny

You would have to do wiring with the ej22 too though i believe
