I just got a set of brola gen III headers and I want to know if there is a sensor of some sort in the header? Its for a MY03 RS
Bummer, live and learn I guess. You shouldn't need to take either of the o2 sensors out to install the header. Taking the whole exhaust off is an easier way to access it, but with the right extensions, sockets and just a 1ft cheater bar, you should be able to detach the manifold from the cats, then install the new header. Some drive up ramps would make things easier. Oh and if you have one of those "ratchet style" impact guns you should be able to access all the bolts just fine as it is much smaller than typical air guns. G'luck. Can't wait to get mine- :drool:chihockey22 said:Also make sure the engine is cool....... When me and my buddies did mine we had multiple burns when trying to take the o2 sensors off. Those are a pain in the ass by the way.
