Full thorttle on start up

So the problem is exactly what the title says.
When I crank car it goes full throttle so I quickly turn it off.

I just got the intake manifold back on after adding a phenolic spacer and also
a TBS. I triple checked that everything is hooked up. Even the TB cable.

Anyone ever have this problem?

Did you get the bracket that moves the attachment point for the throttle cables along with your spacer? If you didn't, your cables are stretched, and holding the throttle open at all times. You need that bracket.

If you DID get it and installed it, then re-check your cable adjustment. They may still be simply too tight and holding the throttle open.

Check the return spring on the TB. The vacuum is pulling the butterfly open for some reason....or you have a HUGE vacuum leak.

The butterfly was stuck.
Didn't need the attachment for the throttle body cables. Just put the adjuster all the way up. Though I need to thread it about another 2 turns to get it from 1K idle back down to 600K...
