any one pondered this besides for me? the idea would be:
RHD swapped GC chassis (to clear exh DP on usa steering u joint side)
evo 8/9 4g63 + bellhousing adapter of some sort+ mounting
obviously inline 4 will be longer, so probably V mount radiator and FMIC will be needed, perhaps even cut the front apron to fit. Exhaust like a SR20DET on the left side (so RHD GC8 would be most ideal), evo is really small intake manifold, and wouldnt have clearance issue on taht side.
dont flame me, its blatent fact that a modern evo 4g63 is waay stronger and reliable under heavy abuse than anything motorsports that subaru has.....

another idea is to try to use subaru x member to mount the rear of the 4g63, and then fab a front X member - ala GDA U brace style. or hack a u-brace to work as one
4g63 also cools very well for some reason.
