Aftermarket cluster?

Well I didn't find anything on this, so anyways I was looking into getting an aftermarket instrument cluster imported eventually. So I know the differences at least are going to be the KMH instead of MPH. I'm just curious if there's anything I need to do to set it up or if it's just plug n play? Also will the mileage be the same on the new dash or is that stored in the ECU?

There are several I'm looking at on www.japanparts.com kinda expensive, but I'm going to be saving for it too.

Only one problem you will probably have, if you have not thought of it. If you get it from Japan and it's in KMH You will be getting a right hand drive dash. Not sure if thats your plan or not but yeah everything on opposite side which is alot of work.

I haven't but thanks for reminding me, so I'm posting a picture to see what you guys thing, it looks like it will fit just fine. Looks to be a uniform fit for both left and right hand drive.

As far as your questions go, they do fit rhd or lhd, but the odometer will be back to zero unless you had it programmed to your mileage. But then you have the problem of it being in kilometers and the speedo in kph. Theres also the chance the wiring is different for the connectors and you might need to re-pin them. It may not be plug and play.
