So i've been looking around for an AWD car and it seems Subarus offer "tuner friendly" cars.I really like the looks of the 1st generation Impreza RS's. However im looking for a car that works both as a Daily and one that i can have fun with long after i have paid it off. So i considered the second generation wrx and if im lucky an STI, dont like how the 3rd generation imprezas look so i have ruled that out. So i dont know what to get. 1st generation RS- Pros: cheaper (payments, insurance and DIY's) weighs least, Cons: Older, more milage, no warrenty, questionable condition, least power. 2nd Generation WRX/STI- Pros: younger, less miles, maybe warrenty, more reliable, more power Cons: weighs most, more expensive (payments and Insurance), modifications done at shop (maybe if you still wanted under warrenty IDK?). Your input is greatly appriecated ^_^ thanks!

well im not looking for a swap (atleast not now anyways). just some thing that i can drive to wok and skool, then on the weekends cruise or whatever. a legacey seems too heavy (IDK?). Mods im considering: suspenstion (coilovers or spring/shock combo don't know yet), wheels/tires, exhaust, intake, and maybe bodykit, thats about it for now (Ae86 is my money project/pit). i would de get a 2nd. gen. WRX but an RS looks sooooooo sick!
