So i found a used axleback exhaust, but the company said it was left over from a customer's WRX and they have no idea what brand it is.... just looking at the hangar location on the muffler I'm not sure it will fit my 2001 RS.... but do help me out, it's being sold for a great price and I'll pick it up tomorrow and see...

a) 2 out of 3 hangers will fit
b) one hanger will need to be extended.
c) the flange will need to be rotated and reduced in size.

if you are picking this up for free then take it. should be $50-60 to make it fit.

bring it to any exhaust shop and tell them if you are in a good mood
"I have this exhaust, can you make it fit on my car"

if you are not in a good mood then bring this to them and say
" i dont care what you do, just make it fit"

lol, its not free, they won't budge on $75... so I'd be looking at $125ish for a used axleback... so I'm not sure if I should go with it, or just save that money and wait for a good deal on a used one made for the 01 RS..... decisions, lol
