Ok!!! How the Fuck do you install a CAI without having to remove the Fender?! I thought about taking the Wheel off and the plastic protector around the wheel well...Wait did I answer my own question?! dude I tried to put on my CAI but shit It was a fucking pain in the ASS! (I think it would help if I know what the fuck I'm doing too!!! Naw, it takes all the fun out of it!) No really I have a pretty good Idea how this shit goes but nevertheless it is a fucking Bitch to install it!!

Frakk... you got the Injen, right? Yes, it's a pain in the ass. From what I hear either (a) take off the bumper or (b) Take off that part in front of the wheel well and slip it up through there.

He said to taking off the bumper:
"I didnt.. I just took the plastic's apart from the bottom. The installation took about an hour because i took my time"

But taking off the bumper works well. I've heard it's not too hard to do that but as I said, what do I know? I've never done any of this .... that's what sean's for!

Oh yeah... and since I seem to be in a helpful streak:

If you go through a puddle, go through it QUICKLY! Don't think "I dont want to splash water in my intake so I'll go through it nice and slow"!

I would have done that too, but that's the wrong thing to do. Intake can handle being splashed but not submerged, so better to haul ass through puddles

Or you can always get one of those AEM water thingies for your filter (there's a pic on their site with it on a filter that's actually submerged in water and still running!

I have done the AEM and INJEN set ups on the WRX and have never had to take the bumper off. I can't beleive that that guy took his bumper off for that. I though maybe the old car was different, if it's the same I would not go through all that!!
