HI, curently i have an HID system on my fog lights, the other day i saw a Porsche GT-3 around and noticed that the HID sytem it had was yellow, so i asked the owner and he told me that it was not the system, that in fact the yellow color was because of the headlights he had.

So i have been thinking to make mines the same way, what do you guys think i can do to make them lok really yellow?? I was thinking that wrapping some kind of paper around the bulb might do it, but i am not really sure what kind of paper can i use, one that would not melt on the bulb and give me the results i want, or if you thik this can be done another way just give me your opinion.

Try some hella yellowstar bulbs. Or you can buy bulbs that use a colored 'condom' (for lack of better word).

What i want is to keep my HID system, but i want the color instead of being blueish i want it to be yellow. What i am looking for is some kind of paper or any kind of stuff that i can put over the bulb or over the cristal on the fog light so that the light comes out yellow but with the same brightness as the HID system. I want something that would not melt or anything like that

Did your HID come with non H3 bulbs?
I'm not too familiar with adding HID to a normal car.

Adding an HID system is fairly easy with any car, i have H4 on the headlights, but i could not get H3 for the fogs and the ones they offered me where really expensive so i decided to adapt them, and got a H1 kit, i just used some silicone and glue to mount them. What i want is to get some kind of film or paint to make them yellow
