Yay! 22B vents and V5 grill!!

he has v5 grills too?!? i thought he only had 22b. how much?!? gonna go save some money now. i need some 22b vents and a v5 grill

Ok he doesn't normally sell V5 grills. Someone gave him their V5 + $$ to purchase a 22B grill. Chris did me a favor and had that used V5 painted SRP for me. But the painter broke the grill in the process, and because of the painter's fault, a brand new V5 grill is sitting on my car at a very GOOD price

Is it possible for you guys to post a side-by-side view of the grills? stock vs. v5 grill.

I like the v5 grill better than the 22B.. but thats just my opinion.. maybe its just cuz the center part where the emblem is and part of the inner bottom lip of the grill are painted... might look better if it was black.

MagicMT those pics above don't look like both 22B grills... take a look again (assuming we are talking abt the comparison pics) the 22B grill sticks out more at the bottom and sides, the part that holds the emblem is different and colored, and the black grill part is a different pattern.

are those headlight covers, or headlight modded? and also if they are covers is that cf surrounding?

I was referring to the vents. Since this topic is "Yay! 22B vents and V5 grill!!" I didn't notice the grille at all.

They're covers that are CF "look", and I believe they are an actual subaru part from Australia. I bought them from Jay McDade. (McDade on the "other club.")

how do u like them? do you leave them on your car? i've seen many of those black out covers mess up headlights behind the covers to a point where u need the covers all the time, have you notice any of this? like dirt and scratches caused by the covers? or do you just use them for special occasions like accurit does?

That Grill looks Really good, makes me wish i had some extra cash Congrats

I also got my 22b vents from Dutch555. I recomend him to anyone looking for vents. Mine came painted.

The covers are pretty cool. There are 4 little clear rubber feet that are the only parts that contact the actual headlight, so there's very little actual contact. I haven't noticed any scratches or anything underneath there (I looked today when I washed my car for our meet) I pretty much have them on all the time, figured they might protect from flying gravel during the wintertime. The only thing is that they won't fit over the stock parking lights, because the lights have the big orange bump on them. So, they'll only fit with the JDM flat all clear parking lights. Hope that answers some q's!

How much faster is the car and how much better does it handle and stop because of these modifications....................
