You should be able to use the ecu from a manual or auto. The only difference is you ground the id pin for one or the other, the ecu works fine. That's how my 1.8 ecu was running and its how my 2.5 is currently. They both were from auto cars. I'd sell you mine, but its the only backup I have. bump, someone's got one lying around for sure

yea id just rather have a 5mt..yours is a obd1 so it wont work anyways but thanks

I'm not quite ready to give mine up yet....but make me an offer I can't refuse and I'll let it go.
do you have a non hacked spare? i dont want the 7K rev limiter cause it fucks with the ob2 readability

Oops.. I didn't think about the obd2 thing. Big jump from 95 to 96. I guess its because I just think of all of the gc's as one happy family, sometimes forgetting about lovely obd2.
