The tires are installed, but the truck isn't drivable until I get the Bilstein suspension on. It's in a black hole at UPS. The last update was from last week where they stated that the truck arrived late to their hub. :unamused:

Where's the beef?!

31's in the rear, 33's in the front:

It was 6-pt turn getting out of my bay with my fenderliner intact. One wheel is bent, so I need to pick up a new one and rotate the bent one back to spare duty.

Bilstein shocks and height-adjustable struts along with some Energy Suspension steering rack bushings. I installed the rear shocks today and I'd say the Ranchos were toast.

I also noted the extreme amount of tension that the airbags are under at full droop. I'm going to have to pick up some 1-2" add-a-leafs to get the lift I want without damaging the airbags.

Wheelers OffRoad out in Oregon. They're a vendor on TacomaWorld and their prices and shipping are reasonable. I'll be dealing with them for add-a-leafs unless I can find them locally.

Now that I know where the front end is sitting I can order the correct add-a-leafs for the rear.

So I was driving home last night in this awful NJ traffic. Slowly but surely the clutch pedal gets softer and softer. Then I'm hooking my foot under it to pull it back up after each shift. Shifting gets tighter and tighter. Then the clutch pedal just stays on the floor. Shifting is impossible just as I pull into our lot. Almost bend the shifter to get it into reverse to get into a parking spot.

So now it sits... again.

Sucks about the clutch issues man.

How you like the 'steins? Also any plan to re-gear with the 33s or does it feel strong enough?

The Bilsteins are great, no complaint there. The wore in quickly and it just feels like a regular truck over bumps and such.

No plans to re-gear. It's ever-so sluggish with the 33's but I knew what I was getting into. I don't want to turn this 330k truck into any more of a money pit.

I sold the cap because I bought a 2009 Tacoma for hauling duties. This truck mainly sits anymore. I installed a BMW ~1000CCA battery in case I ever get around to installing a winch. In the meantime I threw on a lightbar with 2 KC lights. I still haven't gotten around to wiring them in so they're just for show now.
