All of the WRX's I've looked at seem to. If you pull the front PCV hose off where it goes into the turbo intake tube, you'll see that it's wet with oil. Same goes with the hoses on the tubing in front of the intercooler. Seems like there's too much PCV flow or something. Maybe a restrictor in the hoses would do some good.
phil, let me explain something to you. at regional events, no one cares about little shit. for example, i run GS with skidplates, mudflaps, and a removed intake silencer, which are all illegal in stock class. however, since everybody knows that these don't help (actually the rally stuff hurts) no one is going to protest me. however, you better believe all that stuff is coming off for divisionals and nationals. but i don't think you're planning to run our divisional event, are you? if not, i wouldn't worry about it.
