I am doing a 03 WRX swap into a 97 OBS. I am curious on which heater hose to use. The stock 97 OBS or 03 WRX? or does it matter?

Doesn't matter. Use the one that gives you the least amount of kinks in the line. You may have to trim an inch or two off or re-route some things.
