Hi,

I am going to be moving from MA to CO in a few weeks, and I plan on renting a 4x8 trailer from UHaul to help get my stuff out there. The thing is, I need to install a Class 1 hitch on my '01 in order to haul the trailer. I definitely won't be carrying more than 1000 lbs in the trailer.

The biggest problem I've come across is that some of the hitches I have found have a footnote that says "May need to relocate or modify exhaust" -- something I really don't want to deal with. I just want a quick and easy install since I am moving in 2 weeks.

Does anyone who has installed their own have any suggestions on a cheap yet efficient hitch?

i would just order the stock hitch through subaru. Or maybe get the part number, then shop for it used.

^^ Yeah that's probably the easiest thing.
