Hey guys, I'm looking for a black "I" badge that will fit a '00 2.5RS front grill.
Does anyone know where I can get one?

Hmmm, black. I know they have them somewhere. SubaruGenuineParts.com has dark blue ones, but not black.

I've never seen them. I just got a pink one then cleared out the pink and painted it black. Pretty easy if you have some paint thinner, mineral spirits or the like.

This is a cool 'do it yourself' idea. Just in case you can't find a real black "i" badge. This is the star badge, but I'm sure you could do it with the I badge also. This is for newer subies, so I don't know if they have changed the way that the badges are made. It's still pretty neat.

Just checked there.. i only see the 2002+ ones, but no blue ones for pre-'02.

I sanded down my pink i-badge and sprayed it black. Took about 15 minutes, looks OEM.
