Ok, so Im building up a hybrid 257/251 SOHC heads motor. I have a complete gasket set for the 251, but my question is, are the lower gaskets interchangeable between the two bottom ends? Obviously not the bearings, but are the other bottom end seals interchangeable??

Yeah you have the right kit. All shortblock o-rings carry over. Just make sure you chose the right head gaskets. FWIW the bearings carry over too.

Bearings and o rings will work, just be sure of which headgasket thickness you want to use. You may even be able to use the 251 headgaskets depending on which pistons you use and what compression ratio you need.
