I jus bought a 2.5 and today i go to find out why the oem gauge pack doesnt work and i pull out the whole console from the radio to the ebrake and i find all kinds of wires everywhere...i started cleaning up but as of right now i cant find out what these wires go to...THe plugs cut off of em but they seem to be all bunched together...

they run from behind the dash and i found the end near the shifter and ebrake...

The colors are White, Grey, Black, Purple, Orange, and a 10A Fused Red...

Someone Please Help

Agreed. There are hundreds of wires back there, and the colors
of them wont help us if they are cut on your RS and not on ours.

yea that was my guess, but why would there be various colored wires. what is there.. speaker wire, remote wire, and RCA's right??

Yea its one of those tube fuses...

If the car had a factory subwoofer, that may be the wiring , my Forester has a strange looking wire harness and a tube style fuse holder for the factory sub . ..

maybe 16 gauge...just stock size and they have a black tubing sleeve around em...ill try to get pix right now

i dont think the subwoofer because all that stuff is generally right behind the stereo not by the e-brake. post some pictures for sure.

Alright its official...the wire are form the factory sub...thanks alot guys
