SO yea i painted the head lights weekend, And to me it seemed that the clear coners were now to bright/shiny. So this weekend i painted the clear corners as well. What do you all think?

:stupid: hey i painted my corners kinda like that too!! but i think i painted more parts black and still left a part chrome so the light will still reflect off it.

Well, I don't really like it, it breaks up the flow that the headlight/corner marker have, especially with the clear corner. But it looks like you did a pretty good job with the paint, nice clean paintlines. Do you have any pictures of the whole car with this mod? Maybe it looks better (to me, at least ) when you can see the car as a whole with the lights, instead of just the lights. But either way, it's your car, and if you like it, that's all that really counts.

Puckaveli- do you happen to have any side pics of that car or anywith smoked clear corners? I was thinking about doing it but did not think it would look as good as that car does.

Andrew- Thanks for the creativity :sunny: And silly me thought a WRX owner came up with the idea.

I have not had any chance to take a picture yet, but all i have is class tomarrow so i can get it done!

i didnt do anything special. i just saw the VW guys doing this mod and thought since it dramtaically changed their cars...how would it look on ours? and well tried it so the real credit should be to Vdub guys

I thought you originally thought of "tinting" the headlights and showed a mustang with painted headlight surrounding then figured it out and tried it.. oh well

yeah thats what started my need for changing the headlights. then i just gave up on it since no one had any ideas. then my friend showed me something that people do to vdubs and the rest is history. anyways it doesnt really matter where any of this has come from...from me or from an idea i took from a vw guys or whatever. important part is that everyone now has a very cheap mod to make the car look better
