Tuesday Teresa called and set up the training classes for me and her to take the Maryland Motorcycle training course.I have been riding since I was 10 but never had a license.So we are going to do it in April.

Harley on the wish list by next summer woohoo. :drool:

i'm debating getting some kind of a crotch rocket... gotta take all the driving courses first that is too... how long is it (weeks/days that is)... course.. i'll probably have to get my classes back in NH... oh well... have fun though

When I took my class, it was 3 days, like 10 hours a day. 1/2 classroom 1/2 on the bikes.

Thursday 6 - 9pm
Friday 6 - 9pm
Sat. 8 am - 4pm
Sun. 8am - 4pm

Then you get a cert. to take to MVA and they give you the license.
$100.00 for the class

ok kinda dumb question but who provides the bikes? you or them?

They do ...A 250 Suzuki
A helmet but I bought my own.
You do not need a learners permit because you take the course as if you have never been on a bike .
After the final class you get a cert.to take to MVA.

Are you sure about that, cuz here in maryland, you need to have your learners' 14 days prior to the completion of the final riding test or they won't let you get on a bike. Virginia might be different though. Better safe than sorry
