I need some new pads. The problem is I don't want to go offbase to get them here, due to cost and I'd like a brand I know. Does anyone know what USDM model Impreza, Legacy or Forester has the same 2-pot/1-pot brakes as my car?

I'm hoping so, that would make it much more simple to buy new brakes. I don't know much about the brake systems on the different models. I'm fairly new to Subies.

Nope.

The Version 1&2 STi use the 90-94 Turbo Legacy brakes. The Version 3-6 WRX use the 98-01 RS brakes.

The rear 90-94 Legacy turbo brakes are the same pads as the 98 RS (471 style pad if you look for aftermarket). The fronts should be 563 style if you go aftermarket.

Ok, so the Turbo Legacy fronts should work? And what about the rears? I have the solid discs so I'm pretty sure the turbo Legacy brakes won't work for those. Don't the 25RSs have solid rear discs? could those work for me?

The disc being vented or solid doesn't determine the pad shape- the shape of the caliper bracket does .

For the rear, they are the same. The turbo Legacy fronts as mentioned before should work for the front.
