Vent valve solenoid

Just wondering where at the vent valve solenoid might be located on an 2003 impreza ts. Obd2 is throwing a code saying its stuck open. Seems to be a gas leak in that area, can something like that cause a leak or do I need to replace the tank or see if it can be repaired?

I know of two vents off the top of my head. One is at the chsrcoal cannister which is underneath the rear of the car around where the rear bumper is on the passenger side, it looks like a big black plastic textbook sized thing. The vents for the gas tank itself are located on the top against the body, one of them is pretty unaccessible without removing the gas tank which is an absolute pain in the ass. Its opposite where the fuel pump assembly is, Im not sure if the GD has an access plate under the rear seat on the drivers side where you can get to it.
the valve that is near the carbon canister I believe its called the pressure control valve. So does that leave me thinking that the vent valve canister solenoid would be the one near the gas tank? I got the code P0447 coming up, saying that the EVAP control circuit is open. Autozone told me I either have a faulty vent valve solenoid or a wiring issue. Can anyone point to me with pictures or a guide as in how to replace the vent valve solenoid?
I dint have any photos but if you want to get to the ones on top of the gas tank it’s a total pain in the ass and i think you might need to lower the gas tank, meaning the rear subframe has to come down too. i think there are two valves on top, but definitely at least one and it’s on the opposite side of the fuel pump. If you remove the rear seat back and pull back the carpet youll see two access panels, one on each side of the car with about 4-6 screws. The panel on the passenger side houses the fuel pump assembly, i think the one on the driver side may give you enough access to the vent on top of the tank but Im not 100% sure. Its definitely worth checking out before removing the whole tank and will save you a ton of time.
I know one of those evap codes is caused by faulty wiring on the charcoal canister, might be 0420 tho. Still, it takes 2 seconds to pop under the rear passenger bumper and look at the wires. They're pretty exposed so it should be easy to tell if they're damaged.
I'm leaning towards the tank vent myself, but can't remember if you get access to it via the inside hatch. Good luck.
