Swapping a V7 EJ207 into my 99 RS. In regards to tuning, we have an opensource tuner near me. He tuned my WRX & I had a flawless experience with him. Here's the situation.
-Whenever I complete the swap, what octane needs to be in my RS fuel tank until we can do an opensource on it?
-My plans as far as mods are a turboback, intake & uppipe. How should I go about installing these parts during the swap? Would I be able to install all of them before the tune, then get the car tuned? Or keep the stock parts, tune for a 93 oct. tune, then install parts?
-The tuner lives about 45 minutes away from me. Keeping the above questions in mind, how should I drive the car to his location? Or would it even be safe to drive it that far without a tune?
Give me some input & answers on these subjects as I'd like to start this swap near the beginning of March

1. the highest octane available, and I'd stay out of the boost
2. install the parts now, tune 1 time
3. shouldn't be an issue to do a 45 min drive IMHO...see #1
