what would be the highest price u would pay for a 2000 2.5 impreza rs coupe in great condition and lets just say it had 50k miles on it?

Depends on mods, number of owners, and running condition.

For example, I am selling my '00 RS with several mods (suspension and engine) for $11,950. I am the original owner, and it runs great. Mobil One every 3,000 miles, etc.

Each car is worth something different, so it would vary. A good bet would be to check Kbb.com and NadaGuides.com and then average the two values. Then, offer 10% less.

well lets say its bone stock cause thats pretty much what i want to start off with

So average those and you get... $11,670 to $13,927

Anyone selling close to the bottom of those ranges (or below) is offering you a good deal. You probably can't get it for much less than 10% below that unless you have a very motivated seller or something is wrong with the car.

For what it's worth, Autotrader has these stats on 2000 Subaru Imprezas:

Highest price: $17995
Lowest price: $7900
Average price: $13702

However, the lowest priced RS is $11,995. The $7,900 one is a wagon, and all the others under $11,995 are L's, LX's, or other 2.2L variants basically.

So I'd say most are going to go for no less than $11,500.
