I would of welded on a piece to fish the clamp through instead so you can always remove / change out the clamp. Looks fancy tho!
True…… I have enough scrap angle to have made that easily.

Working on prepping car for alignment. Was advised to get adjustable at links so got these NOS Nagisa auto GDB arms. Cheaper than white line and fully spherical.

Next up fix calipers. Rears where assembled wrong.

Next up, new struts bc why not

Next up, double checking tie rods, front struts, and random stuff

I fixed the popping sound during Right turns, as I suspected the ikeya formula tie rods where installed incorrectly. They actually have a top and bottom side, the R Side has the tie rod upside down, it has a little angle to it. I was also told it may be the axles but they seem fine, do sit close to the strut bottom but the few mm of clearance is enough for me.

Yoooooo... Strut tower delete?
Exactly

Updates pre-2022 marking way to fing long to be “building” this car.
Got some OTC aerosol gm rally red touch up for my wheel wells + 2 part clear in a can. Used the remaining clear to spray the bottom of my aluminum hood. Cleaned up the cuts for sprayers, vents, and hit any raw AL with black high build primer, then with the 2part clear. Good amount of orange peal but hey it’s the under hood. Wanted to leave it looking fresh from Subaru parts counter. Even tried to save the label as best I could & cleared over it. I’m still gonna run a buffer over flat parts quickly to see what happens + practice buffing for when the whole Car gets sprayed.

After buffing for 4 minutes and cutting mesh for 2 hours
