Hey everyone I wanted to start my own build thread. I've had my impreza for about 11 months and it's been a fun project. I'm located in Oregon. I bought the car from Primitive racing for $1100. It had 158k miles and it was a 1.8L with a 5 speed transmission. Also came with a rear swaybar, front skidplate, and rs seats.

I want to eventually wrx swap it and do some autox and track days, enjoy it really. I will update the post with what's been done and where I'm at now very soon.

Got lucky and scored a red hood and grille off an outback at the local pick n pull, paid 80 dollars for all of it.

More updates for the Impreza, I picked up a set of wrx wheels with new tires (ventus v2) for under $300. I stumbled upon an rs front bumper for $80 bucks so I picked that up too.

Removed most of the blue paint and also picked up some fog lights.

im loving the transformation so far OP. especially the red hood, i think that red white scheme so far works really well. it doesnt throw anything off visually, imo.

Started looking around for a wing, I really wanted a coupe rs wing but I found something else local and oem. Found this v5 Sti wing and trunk.

I know you guys like some updates so here you go. I got the trunk and wing installed you can see the color difference there but no issue since I will be repainting the car. I need to order more bolts and nuts for the wing along with rewiring the brake light on it. I happen to find some black housing headlights at the local pick n pull and ordered some amber corner lights and I'm pretty happy with the outcome.

Back with more progress I started to get rid of the tan interior and convert it to black. I'll post some pics on how everything is going. I'm planning to flock the dash too.

Picked up an rs carpet and some rs interior pieces.

Bonus parts Jdm taillights for $200 in box.

Got more rs pieces installed and picked up a set of jdm wrx tiger print seats to replace the rs seats.
