I am at 35,560 miles and I think it is time for new plugs and wires. Any recommendations?

Also, does anyone know what torque to use to tighten the new plugs in?

Are the plugs hard to get at? They look like they might be deep in there?

I have done my own maintenance on many cars before, but never on an aluminum block, or a side ways engine.

On cars with aluminum blocks you get torque specifications between 13 and 18 foot-pounds. Put a set of NGK plugs in. If you don’t have an ignition upgrade or a greater amount of fuel being delivered the OEM wires are fine.

Agreed.

And be very careful with the aluminum head and torque. Get it right or pay the price!
