O.k., I am trying to fiqure out on the throttle position sensor for a '99 2.5 rs what color wire goes with what ie. power, ground, signal. I am a little confused because it looks like on the tps sensor has 4 wires instead of 3. I am almost sure it is the sensor right across from the throttle cable? What sensor is it on top of the throttle body?

on top is the idle air controlvalve...
the tps is on the opposite side of the butterfly for the throttle
stick a voltmeter into one of the wires on the tps, then with the key on,turn the butterfly's till u are at wide open throttle. Now look at your volt meter...u should read 4 or so volts at wide open throttle...if not...move to a new wire, then open the throttle...continue till u find that wire...when u do..that is your signal wire
