'01 RS with no major mods. Yep, oil everywhere....this happened yesterday morning when it was 6 degrees outside. Thoroughly cleaned housing and reinstalled seal thinking gasket sealer gone bad; let cure indoors overnite. Popped back out after 1 minute running this a.m.! No CEL's, nothing on scan, plugs look great and motor sounds fine. BTW this is on passenger side. Got new OEM seal today and reinstalled w/ new gasket sealer and its now curing again overnite. Am I getting too much compression from something? Ideas PLEASE!

Seals wear after a while. Either you have too much pressure building up in your crankcase (PCV valve is there to relieve that pressure) or your seal simply wore out or was incorrectly installed if it has been replaced
Check your PCV if its covered in oil and sludge I suggest you get a new one. Around $5 at autozone.
If thats not it buy a brand new seal and make sure its installed properly
Or if those arent it maybe your cam is out of round?
