only buy it if you really really like the XT and you really want one, because that would be the one to get if you did. however they are harder to maintain and mechanics hate working on them (any Loyale/GL/etc). harder to diagnose and more annoying to work on, and harder to find parts for.
lets just say you would enjoy and RS a lot more for a driver, but the XT would be neater to have in the garage or for conversation starters

I wouldn't buy a 1986 with 26k mi on it unless I was intending to have it sit in storage for collection purposes.

That doesn't necessarily mean anything bad... awhile back I did a google images search for 2.5 RS and found a picture of my exact car up there, LOL ! Nevertheless, my vote goes to the RS...
turbocharged and 111hp at 4800 rpms? wtf does it have under the hood, 2 angry squirrels lol.
