Hello, I was wondering if this ^ intercooler will be a good substitute as a FMIC for a stock STI TMIC intercooler. I have done the math (LxWxH) with those dimensions of the aftermarket intercooler and the stock STI intercooler and I know they have differrent sizes altogether(Aftermarket=435ci & STI=598.6ci). With the aftermarket one being front mounted and it having more direct air would it be able to compensate for it being smaller than the STIs larger size but lack of direct air? By the way I am wanting to know because I will be using a vf39 in turbo build. Thanks in advance.

depth and number of fins is what ive heard to be the key

this is about half as deep; id say its not even close to a good replacement.

but deff go fmic.. all the way.. measure your dept from the mount and see your max w/o any custom work need and go from their.. unless you wana rally your shit lol.. stick to front mount.. i use perrin and love it..
