As you can see, had to make something that would clear the intake, be sturdy enough to hang the horn from, and wouln't hit the hood. Took some looking, cutting, and drilling, but I did it!
When I can. I can record it on my laptop, but it's network card is on the fritz, and I don't have a floppy for it, so I have no way of getting the sound from the laptop to the desktop. Unless I can use the headphone out one the laptop to the mic in on the desktop.... I'll give that a try when tomorrow if it's not raining.minx said:So when ya gonna post a sound bite?!?![]()
Do you want a 3C589D Etherlink III card? I've got quite a few here. You'd need to get a dongle, but otherwise they're most likely good.HondaH8er said:

Thanks for the offer, but I'll pass. I've finally got some income coming in, since I'm working again, so I'm going to get a card that uses the empty port on the back of the machine pretty soon. The dongle hanging out the side always bothered me anyways. Thanks for the offer, though! I'll try to get that horn recorded either Friday or Saturday, by the way.horatio102 said:

I want one of those, too! Not for at the same time, but maybe a rotation. First the ooga for 4 months, then the air horns for 4 months, then the fog horn for 4 months.:drool:COwannago said:You know, I was thinking about this and I remembered I had a friend who put a fog horn on his VW bug. One of those super loud and deep horns that ships use, you guessed it, in the fog. It would scare many a person.
