that's why honda's have a lockout...10% throttle=shiftlock engaged

The question WILL be asked,,and ive got the answer
Nuetral drops(putting your automatic in nuetral,revving the engine to high rpms,then dropping it into drive are); not good,not advised,bad fr your transmission,ill advised,not covered under waranty,doesnt look cool,wont make ya go faster,and just plain stupid im my humble opinion.Other's may want to add there opinion.
So now if anybody asks that question now,tell them to ,,,do a search.

When my car was in the shop, I had a olds alero (or some crap like that) for a rental. I tried to do a neutral drop, but the throttle was "fly-by-wire", and it wouldn't physically drop into gear until the revs had been brought down to about 1k.... that sucked... I was planning on trashing the transmission....

Mild power brake launchs i do on occaion.Havent done a nuetral drop since i was 15 and that was on a Chrysler TorqueFlite pushbutton automatic,with the buttons on the left side of the dash.Now THAT transmission would take a licken and keep on ticken 426 hemi Dodge Coronet,very big and very fast.
