Nice, wish I could have gone that route:puppy_dog, oh well. I have an 05 STi shortblock I might build for a hybrid "hybrid" build later, lol

Good luck man! Hit me up if you ever need any help.

What car was the start car equivalent to in au, is it effectively a wrx rs? Or more like a wrx sti? . Looks great though

Does the dash you have in there just plug in to the gc8 wiring or you had to convert all of it too?

Not too sure of the model trims are in Australia, my car in stock form is just a non-turbo wrx. Now it would be equivilant to a regular WRX.

Not to sure what you mean by dash, it's the stock dash. If you mean the cluster, no it had to be rewired to the car, it's not plug-n-play.

Little update, changing the turbo from a TD04L to a VF29. Still working on the header, just been lazy lol.

Got a AEM intake from a 05 STi. Modified the pipe in the fender to fit in the GC. Worked out great!!

Air straight to the Filter!

nice CAI fix looks good! sure it functions even better ;) i like the swap!
Thanks, its coming along slowly, but loads of fun!!

Awesome! Cuz Imma do the same, I have that intake in the garage...
I ended cutting off the 45 at the bottom and the bracket. I don't know if you car has it, but there is a small bracket that goes from the frame of the car to the fender and it aid in holding the fender liner and the an airbag harness. I shoved that back on and it is holding the piping nice and tight. I should have taken more pics...:screwy:

Just got a set of factory lamco gauges in and wait on some more parts to get the oil temp working.

Also picked up a brand new set of GC8 SPT springs to stiffen up things a little. :)
