This picture was taken this morning (Dec 16th) at 7:30am. This is what I get to look foward to doing before I go to work. I got all the snow off the car, and backed out, no problem. I love AWD.....(and snow tires)

There are cars getting stuck all over town....Toyota Tacomas, Ford Expeditions, transit busses....but not my suby! I love it.

I am moving to Irvine this summer. The upside of being in the snow though, is being able to get sideways at every turn, and if you swing wide, you just softly bounce off the snow berms built up by the plows. AWD heaven my friend.

Yes yes, awd rocks my body. :)

Just this weekend some friends and I were staying with another friend who lives out in the boonies. Lots of ice ou there, took my friends in their 4wd trucks 3 or 4 tries just to get out of the driveway. My RS backed out with ease :D

Man that is sweet. I really love snow. But maybe if I had to deal with it like you do every day, perhaps not. And definitely not if I didn't have an Impreza!

Yeah, it wouldn't be so bad if snow wasn't so heavy. It looks light and fluffy until you start shoveling it.
That, and shortly after I got to work, some idiot didn't see my car parked behind him and backed into it. Now I need a new rear bumper. I am still at work and I think my car may be stuck now. It has snowed so much that my car just looks like a big snow drift. Stuck at work in a blizzard. Great.

P.S. I work at the Mammoth School District, and of course all the students and teachers have a "red day" which means no school....but I, the computer tech, still have to be at work. Go figure.

I wish we could get that much snow in Denver! If it does snow that much, it is gone within a day... damn that Colorado weather!!

Stop complaining. At least you get some snow. Look at my location. I barely even know what the stuff is!

I'm waiting for snow. Got the subi in florida and the sand on Pensacola beach looked just like snow to me. My first Sub-nuts were done in the sand. I almost shed a tear. Here's a pic of the aftermath. You can kinda tell the swirls in the sand to the right of the car are my tracks. You think that's legal?!

We've just been getting tease flurries. Everytime I see them, I run back inside, and check the ol' doppler. Looks like I've got at least a week til I see a good snow. How about that sand though? It was like snow that you could actually stop in. Truly beautiful, indeed.

BTW, I pulled into that with the car wet, and the sand stuck. Made it all the way home with it still stuck to my car. It might still be there, just under a bunch of mud now.

We've had some snow here in Ohio recently, and while it's still a lot of fun to drive in, I seem to be lacking the traction I remember having last year! It's either from the RE92s or the turbo; possibly a combination of both. Last year I could floor it and just go, no problem. This year, when I floor it, I go, but not as quickly since my tires are all spinning! I've questioned a few times if my awd was not working.
