^You generally slope the X down towards the front to make it easier to get in and out of the car.

Terry they're pretty close to mine/fia spec. They would be plenty strong in that configuration.

Ya i been looking at that too Biran. The front corners and length of the bed are two areas i might revise.

It was originally like that to clear radiator and the intercooler pipe going into the reversed manifold. I might flip thea mani back around and use a short radiator

I havent changed it yet though cuz i think once rad, intercooler and lights are on, it'll look better

I'm not sure what you're running for body panels but you could extend the nose out at a 45° angle to your current down tubes to create a more streamlined nose and then build your crash beam and front off of that?

going for bare minimum body. like a firewall, a floor, maybe some sheetmetal behind seats, and removable fenders. hood is still a grey area. getting mixed feedback on its requirement

In regards to the door bars. Could you go more of a nascar style with them being parallel. Kinda like below. Just curious if there are any reasons why that wouldn't work.

Almost rolls. I eff'd up the trans mount. Bolt spacing off again! Went and got more jack stands so I can level up the chassis and make sure the roof bars are correct. Bed cam out to 49" deep x 40 1/4" wide. Just being enough for a pallet

Got the roof bars in and rear strut upper mounts drawn up in my head. The strut is super close to the crossmember pipe. Worse case I make a little dent in pipe to clear strut for travel.

Looking great man. As I've been teaching myself to tig this really peaks my interest.

When thinking of how to shape the front end at least consider moving the rad to the back. Without the "protection" of a stock style bumper and grill it might be a little safer, all while hiding the real intent... Because it would make that motor stand out more.

Badass. Keep it up.
