The Story
My GF4

So summer of 2012 my beloved GC (Likz0r) that i have had since i was 16 (had it for 8 years) started having problems with overheating, I believed it to be a headgasket as it would over heat after driving for 45 mins or so. I began looking into engines, ran into a headache there but eventually i found a great deal on a beautiful GF Wagon. The wagon was in northern washington/seattle area a so after a 14 hour driver there and back i had a new car.

Day I bought the GF



Day After


Shortly after i installed some goodies off of my GC and took off on a road trip to the beach

Rally armors, HID's, JDM corners, 2001 Crystal headlights and wrx brakes. Thing was looking good, i was happy to finally have a good looking car lol

At the beach


Beach trip was fun, but on the way home tragity struck....

15 mins from my house i hit a cow doing 50 MPH. Before you give me shit i live out in the middle of no where, where we have range areas where cattle run and graze freely. I had the stupid HID headlights which are not bright at all, and i could not see 6 black cows in the middle of the night on the middle of the road soon enough.

I aim for a small ass hole and only take damage to my passenger side. I hit the cow and the cow spun down the side of my car while defecating on my car too. The passenger side mirror swung up and hit the window covering my girlfriend in glass.

I try to straiten it out the best i can




I find parts and replace them after i straitened everything out



For taking on a major front end collision it did not look bad.



De pinstriped and de badged/stickered it




Hella stoked i got my car looking good


3 weeks later on my way to work, speeding a little... i hit a deer doing 70 and locking up brake, not sure on true speed but the skidmarks are fucking long...

I was so distrot... i was heartbroken, pissed, and went into a depression... wrecking the shit out of my car twice so soon.







I buy a core support for SOA, spot weld remove the trashed one (great tool i recommend it) and weld it in.... luckily i only had to replace the hood, Grill, headlights, core support and radiator this time.

I unfortunately do not have any pictures of this as seeing in my car in this state i did not want to take pictures of it.

I rock my white gc hood for a little while why i try to recoupe my money from wrecking and repairing my car twice. It looked horrible With the white hood, and i could not find a RBP hood anywhere.

Eventually Subiwag parts out his wagon and i buy one from him, i drove up to seattle and picked up some new items for the rebuilt wagon. RBP hood, JDM Tails, and a Ver 6 front bumper.

I Installed the JDM tails and hood as soon as i got home but i wanted to paint the front bumper first before i installed it.

It was also the first snow night so it was a double win

I eventually got my JDM rails installed looks so much better, Takes away from the whole econobox mom look down.


And we are here today

I need a nice camera....


Installed the wrx seats... i will say i am not super impressed. They have no bolsters, they allow you to slide around more then GC RS Seats and you have to sit straight on in them.

I will give them that they look cool and you can feel the ass of the car more. I really can feel the turns and suspension in my lower back, but in a good way.

Might get some Bug eye and see if i like them more

Not sure on the weird spots on them lol

Picked up some new goodies
C-Pillar Brace
Rear Strut Brace
Honda Passport rear wiper set up
STI Trunk Stoppers (OBS Rattling truck stopper)

None of these are installed yet but They are all in the rear so i will do them all at once.

Now my question is about tie rods and ball joints.

My steering feels loose going straight, in the corners it feels solid so i am believing that my ball joints and tie rods are going out if not out.

Should i go Moog? or the Whiteline RCA/bumper steer correction?
Price really isn't a big thing because the setup will be similar priced

I am lowered on H&R springs quite a bit, so i can see the RCA Kit helping but the reviews are mixed does anyone have any opinions on them?

Ouch on the two accidents.
Ehh shit happens, still going to court for the cow.

I get to go in front of a jury on the 18th over a hit and run case for the cow. That pisses me off more then the cow thing.

Moral of the story; If your insurance says that they have what they need from you make sure to check in with them later on to make sure they pay for the property you hit. Do not take it for granted that either insurance companies will contact you if there are any problems.

weird, thats a bummer man. Cars lookin good though, I really dig those blue obs's. Whats a cow run moneywise?

Yea shit sucked lol. But my insurance finally cut the check last week so i am hopping they dismiss the hit and run case once they get their money.

They are asking for $1200 for the cow but usually around $1500, almost as much as i paid for the car lol.

Yea the RBP+slate metallic is my favorite OBS color, about the only two tone i would drive lol that and the white.

we don't really have free range cows in the northeast, just a snowstorm right now. The western coast looks pretty sick. Any plans for the engine in the future?

I would love to turbo it, but it is still my dd so reliability is a must.

I am currently turboing my white GC so after i get that figured out and have the knowledge i might apply it to the wagon.

But single port heads make it a pain to turbo lol.

a nice ej20 swap would be lovely as well

I want to do a swap, but $$$ is lacking, so I'm thinking of doing the custom turbo with the ej22. Why do the single port heads cause a problem?
