What's the deal with the ultra thin snow tires?? They looked like Motorcycle tires.

The physics doesn't really match up.. Wider surface area.. Less pressure.. Why are the snow tires so Thin!>!>>!???

To dig man! If that theory was sound, people would be running slicks or something as wide. Vipers don't do well in the snow because of their wide tires.(amongst other things)

Yeah, the narrow tires cut into the snow, kind of like making it's own tracks to ride in, whereas wide tires would just slip around on top of the snow. At least, I think that's how it works
