don't know the rules but your best choices for a good suspension kit are dms 40mm golds, leda b's, cusco (depends on what you want), and sti/fhi setups. But before you go spending big money on that stuff get bigger sway bars, front and rear strut bars, anti-lift kit, and better tires. If you still need more after that then go for the kits.
I'm going to whore a bit, and echo these fine folks.
You need to give the car a chance to appreciate a new suspension if / when you decide to buy. First things first.
Tires. 20mm rear sway. STi bushings. Anti Lift kit. Primo - first rate, no kidding autox alignment at a good speed shop. If you're still not satisfied with the over-dampened-soft-spring-OEM setup, THEN spend the big money.
A $2K set of struts and springs feel like the blue light special through RE92s and stock bushings!:barf:
