I need everyone's advice on which suspension setup I shoulod purchase for my 00 2.5 RS. I have been agonizing for the past few months on which suspension to buy. My main consideration is that I do not want to lower my car more than 1.25".

So with that said need advice. I have researched all setups and I think I may want to go with the Prodrive WR setup. I looked at STi but they discontinued the V5 springs. Has anyone tried there V6 springs with V5 struts.

I looked at KYB/AGX struts. But they don't come with tabs for brake lines and I don't want to zip tie my brake lines.

So please any input would be helpful. :D

Where'd you hear that? The only thing you have to zip tie is one of the ABS speed sensor wires on the front (one front strut has a ABS speed sensor wire mount the other doesn't). All four KYB-AGX struts have brake line tabs.

I was highly considering the Prodrive WR Sport myself, but went with Whiteline's over AGXes for cost reasons.

I've also heard the Eibach Pro-Kit over AGX makes a good combo.

I have the KYB-AGX and the Ground Control Eibach springs on them (single rate). You can adjust ride height with these because they come with a threaded collar and you can adjust dampening with the struts. Great setup but chooses your spring rates carefully!

Bill,

If you can still find a set somewhere, the P1 settup is supposed to be awesome. It consisted of version 5 struts and specific rate eibach springs. This was the suspension used on the P1, and it only lowered the car about 3/4 of an inch. Handling is supposedly phenominal and the price was good. You might contact Peaty on the board. If I recall he has a set.

Fast Billy- I ordered a v5 MOMO wheel from Mike about six weeks ago. At that time, he said he had been having medical issues, and would evaluate the future of the shop after the new year. Perhaps he just got busy with the holiday? I would keep trying though, as Mike is a great guy and a pleasure to do business with.

Personally, my LEDA single-adjustable coilovers have served me well for numerous track days. Just another option, if you can find them.

I drove a friends car with a P1 setup, and it seemed a bit jumpy for my taste, although that could've been a lot of things (his alignment settings, tires, stiffer bushings, etc., etc.).
