Quality can be found over either ocean. I'd love to own a BMW and that was what I was gonna buy but I settled on the mighty RS.

subarus most reliable cars in US
according to the st. louis post dispatch article on the Consumer Reports survey, SOA and Toyata are tied for the most reliable cars in the US, both at 12% problem rates. also, the Forester is the most reliable small SUV and the WRX is the "most fun to drive". granted, they had a picture of a 00-01 RS, but still. overall, the japanese manufacuters are way more reliable, averaging 15% problems while European cars are at 23% and American cars 24%. the best car tested is the BMW 530i
