There's so many options it can be hard to recommend a printer. One of the most popular is creality cr10 as a beginner/budget printer, but you'll need an enclosure to print high temp materials like abs. Checkout all3dp.com they have an ongoing list of top printers in different budget ranges that's is consistently updated if new printers come out. I have a wanhao from 2015 which I don't really recommend (needs upgrades out the box) but even that is still running 8 years later, they've all come a long way.

I started with the smallest Monoprice Select Mini V2. It worked great, even with ABS. I have a Prusa Mini now. It's a lot more expensive, but runs perfectly right out of the box.

I don't need these plugs, but I'll chime in with a second vote for Prusa. I have a Mk3s+ that has run great for years. I think they're definitely worth the money and Prusa has excellent resources and support.
