So I have been fussing and fighting with these stupid brake lines for over 2 hours. I and trying to get the old rear drum brakes off of my Brighton but the lines seem to be fused together. I can't get the soft line to seperate from the hard line. I know if I twist and brake the hard line I'm going to be in a whole world of hurt. So my question is, how to I do this without breaking the extremely delecate hard line?

Or how do I repare the hard line fiting after I destroy it?

Auto zone said it would explode if I did that. I even bought the open ended flare nut tool you are supposed to use and it just striped it off. I ended up being able to get it lose with some channle locks though.
