I need JUST the top hat for my front passenger strut since a bolt decided to commit suicide. Where do you guys find these? Can't find any in the classifieds and OEM Subaru sites don't seem to have them. Please help.

I replaced mine with a Grade 5 carriage bolt from Lowes.

Yeah, aren't the studs welded to the top hats?

Nope.. They are studs. They come out with a hammer. The the carriage bolt idea is not ideal, It works, but needs minor modification of the top hat and bolt.

If you get the stud out like Skidd said (Hammer Technique is what I usually do too?), you should be able to go to Autozone and get some new ones. If not, Pm me. I probably have some laying around..
